Applies to the Store Manager Pro Windows desktop app and Android app, this website, and our partner program. No ads, no trackers in the app itself, and your business data stays on your device unless you choose to sync it.
Effective September 21, 2026
To run your store, the app stores business data you or your staff enter: products and inventory levels, sales transactions, customer records (typically a name and phone number), staff accounts (username, role, and a securely hashed password, never a plain password), and your store settings.
By default, all of this lives only in a local database on the device running the app. Nothing leaves that device unless you explicitly turn on cloud sync (see below) or license activation.
If your store operates multiple tills or branches, you can turn on cloud sync to keep them in agreement. When enabled, the business data listed above is transmitted to and stored on our sync service so other authorized devices in your organization can pull the same up-to-date records.
Sync is off by default and only runs if you deliberately enable it in Settings. It only shares data between devices you've registered to the same store, never with any other business or third party.
The app is licensed per installation. Activation works by verifying a cryptographic signature locally, using a device identifier generated on your machine. This check happens entirely on-device: no license or device data is transmitted over the network to activate the app.
The Android app requests exactly one runtime permission:
The app does not request access to your contacts, photos, location, microphone, or camera.
If you apply to our partner program we collect the details you give us: your name, email address and phone number, a password (stored only as a one-way hash, never in readable form), and anything you tell us about how you plan to refer stores. Once approved you can also give us payout details, either a mobile money number and network or a bank name, account number and account name, so we know where to pay your commission. We also keep a record of the stores you refer (the store name and contact phone number you submit for each) and of the commissions you earn and are paid.
We use this only to run the program: to review your application, credit your referrals, work out and pay your commission, and email you about your account. Payout details are visible only to us and are used only to send you money. We don't sell or share your information with advertisers. Our email provider and hosting providers process it on our behalf to deliver notices and run the service.
We keep partner records for as long as your account is active, and afterwards for as long as we need them for accounting and to resolve any dispute about a commission. You can ask us to correct or delete your information using the details below, apart from the payment records we are required or need to keep.
If you visit this website through a partner's referral link, the partner's referral code is saved in your browser's local storage for up to 60 days. It is used only so the partner can be credited if you go on to request a demo or buy a license, when it is added to the message you send us. It is not used to track you across other websites and isn't shared with anyone else. Clearing this site's data in your browser removes it.
Data stays in your local database (and, if sync is on, on the sync service) until you delete it. The app includes a Factory Reset option in Settings that permanently wipes all local store data from that device. If you'd like data tied to your sync account fully removed, contact us using the details below.
We don't share your data with advertisers, analytics providers, or data brokers; the app itself has no such integrations. If cloud sync is enabled, your data is processed by our infrastructure providers (database and hosting) solely to operate the sync service on your behalf, under standard confidentiality terms. This website uses Google Analytics to understand site traffic; the desktop and Android apps do not.
Store Manager Pro is a business tool intended for retail operators and staff, not children, and is not directed at or knowingly used to collect data from children.
If this policy changes in a material way, we'll update the effective date below. Continued use of the app after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
